Field → fibre → table → soil

The life of a bagasse plate.

Our primary line starts where sugar production ends. Here is the whole journey — and the part plastic never gets to.

  1. 01

    The field

Sugarcane is grown for its juice. Once the juice is pressed out, the fibrous stalk that remains is called bagasse.

    Source
  2. 02

    The fibre

That leftover fibre is pulped and cleaned — a by-product becomes a raw material instead of waste.

  3. 03

    The mould

Heat and pressure in steel moulds form the pulp into plates, bowls, trays and clamshells.

  4. 04

    Your table

It carries hot, oily, saucy food — and your brand — from kitchen to customer.

  5. 05

    Back to soil

Plant fibre is compostable: in industrial composting it breaks down in weeks to months.

Plastic vs bagasse — with sources

Be proud of what you hand over.

No vague green claims. Here is what the standards, the UN and India’s own rules actually say — and what happens to plant fibre after the meal.

Single-use plastic Bagasse
Made from Fossil-fuel polymers (PP, PET, PS) Sugarcane fibre left over after juice extraction
After use Some plastics can take up to 1,000 years to decompose, breaking into ever-smaller pieces Compostable plant fibre — weeks to months in industrial composting
Recycling reality Only around 9% of plastic is recycled worldwide Goes with organic waste where composting is available
Regulation in India Plastic plates, cups, glasses, cutlery, straws, trays and stirrers banned since 1 July 2022 Plant fibre, not plastic — outside the single-use plastic item ban
Hot & oily food Depends on the polymer — PP handles heat better than PET Widely used for hot, oily and wet food — confirm the spec per item

Still unsure? Ask on WhatsApp

No. Every price is per piece and excludes GST, so you can compare like-for-like. The GST rate is shown on each product (most items are 18%), and your cart adds the GST line for you. Every order is billed on a GST invoice.

Disposables are packed and priced by the carton, and each product shows exactly how many pieces a carton holds and what that carton costs. You can switch any cart line to pieces; we confirm part-carton availability when we confirm your order.

Nothing is charged on the website today. You place an order request; we confirm stock, freight to your PIN code and the final GST invoice, and then share payment details. Online payment will be switched on here soon.

Add your delivery PIN code to the order request and we will confirm the delivery options and freight for your location before you pay.

Yes — personalisation is what we do best. Cups, food boxes, clamshells, carry bags, cutlery sleeves, belly bands, labels and seals, even debossing on moulded fibre. Try it in the Brand Studio, then request a quote; quantity, finish and timeline are quoted per job.

No. Your logo stays in your browser — it is drawn onto the 3D mock-up on your own device and never uploaded. When you request a quote, you choose what to send us.

Bagasse (sugarcane fibre) is widely used for hot, oily and wet food. Heat and microwave tolerance varies from item to item, so tell us how you will use it and we will share the specification for the exact product before you order.

Product photos show the actual item. Where we do not have a photo yet, you will see a drawing of the item type, with the capacity, size and carton details listed. Ask us and we will send you a picture before you order.
